Government Girls Inter College Fateh Jang established during the Month of September 1983 in a Primary School building which was property of Town committee Fateh Jang .The College consist of only two class rooms and a small hall which was constructed during year 1995.After start the college faced a lot of problems especially shortage of teaching staff. Despite this college produced very good Results over and above Board.The most of students come from various Village’s which are 25-30 KM far from college and students reached the college after long trave

After lapse of 20 years the District Government muted approx 21 Kanal land and  the land transferred in the Name of Education Department Girls Inter College Fateh Jang.The District Government acted upon and constructed College building  and the building completed during year 2003 and College shifted to a new College building on 27-10-2003.The College building located at Mohaala Gharbi ,near Chandni chook Fateh Jang and only 1 KM away from Bus stop.The College now upgraded to the level of Degree w.e.f  12-10-2007 vide Government of Punjab (Higher Education Wing)  Lahore notification No So(p-III)/8/14/2007  dated 12-10-2007. And now College official name is Government Associate college for women Fateh Jang.
